This is going to be a big week in the history of technology as Apple is slated to release a brand new tablet computer. We were sad to learn of the passing yesterday of celebrated Canadian writer/musician Paul Quarrington. We know him best as the writer of the book 'Whale Music', which was made into an outstanding movie with a soundtrack by the Rheostatics. 2010 is off to a real bang and it keep getting better. Case in point, this week sees the release of Meat, the brand new album from Hawksley Workman, as well as the debut from The Pinecones (featuring Brent Randall & Paul Linklater), called Sage. As if that weren't enough, the Zunior Label is proud to present the sophomore solo album from our very own Ben Gunning! Owen Pallett's new album Heartland is being reviewed/featured/discussed just about everywhere these days. No surprise as his ingenuity and drive is legendary, and it all seems to be paying off.
